Ongoing Research

Nova Palm Medical, together with the PISTA Institute, has embarked on research to redefine the approach to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's care. This innovative study is carried out in collaboration with esteemed sports organizations and research institutions, and it takes a multifaceted approach to improve the lives of participants.

Participants in this research are thoughtfully divided into distinct groups, each following a unique approach to address the complexities of their conditions:

PISTA Device Group: Participants in this group exclusively engage with the PISTA device. This technology employs sound, vibration, and cognitive stimulation, following PISTA's research-driven principles. The aim is to assess the effectiveness of the PISTA device in isolation.

Table Tennis Group: The second group focuses solely on the sport of table tennis. Recognized for its cognitive and physical benefits, this approach aims to evaluate the impact of physical exercise and mental engagement through the game.

Combination Group (Table Tennis and PISTA): Participants in this group follow a combined approach, incorporating both the PISTA device and regular table tennis sessions. This holistic strategy aims to explore the synergistic effects of cognitive stimulation and physical activity.

Through a comprehensive program tailored to the unique needs of each group, the research spans an extended duration, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in their respective approaches. The collaborative research is enriched with a wealth of data collected from cognitive assessments, physical evaluations, and emotional well-being measurements.

The heart of this research is not only to identify the most effective approach but to understand how diverse methods can complement one another in addressing the challenges of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Participants are at the center of this transformative journey, with their well-being and progress being meticulously tracked and assessed.

As we continue to advance in our understanding of these neurological conditions, the collaborative research between Nova Palm Medical, the PISTA Institute, sports organizations, and research institutions promises to illuminate new paths for enhancing the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Stay tuned for the remarkable findings and inspiring stories that are emerging from this ongoing study.
